Aruba 2008 : Evan got 'block' leave, before shipping out to Iraq, around when Roe and I were thinking of taking a vacation. So we decided to make it a family vacation and booked a week stay down in Aruba. Roe and I had been there in 2003, but this was the first time for Evan to go to one of the islands. I think he liked this 'sand' more than he will the 'sand' in Iraq:)

Maine 2007 Vacation : Well we finally got a chance to take the vacation to Maine that we were suppose to take last year. We took Roe's father with us along with our 2 cats and Dutchess our dog. The weather wasn't the best the 1st half of the trip but it finally cleared up the last 3 days. We spent the 1st part near Kennebunkport and did see Bush 41's compound, then we finished up spending the 2nd part near Bar Harbor.

Hunting Trip 2006 : Well I was able to take a short hunting trip to Michigan this year. It was only one week instead of my normal two weeks as I came back early too work on the deck. Dutchess had a great time as we put up 10 birds (woodcock), seen 4, shot at 3, and got one.
